Bolivia reports 241 new cases of COVID-19, a record number in just one day
This day there were five new deaths, four in Santa Cruz and one in Beni. La Paz presented 15 cases (with a total of 236); Cochabamba a case (sum 81); Chuquisaca did not present new cases (four is still the total); Oruro has four new patients (111); Pando with zero cases (12 confirmed); Potos? with zero new patients (26 in total); and Tarija also did not register new patients (three confirmed in total).

This Saturday in the country, 241 new cases of coronavirus were reported in a single day, making a total of 1,470 positive patients with COVID-19 in Bolivia. The highest peak so far had occurred on April 24 with 104 cases.
This day there were five new deaths, four in Santa Cruz and one in Beni.
The state portfolio issued a video capsule through the state channel in which it announced the new infections in an hour much later than usual.
On the day, Santa Cruz reported the highest number of new cases, 113, making a total of 806, being the first affected department in the country.
Cases also shot up in Beni with 108 new patients and a total of 191.
La Paz presented 15 cases (with a total of 236); Cochabamba a case (sum 81); Chuquisaca did not present new cases (four is still the total); Oruro has four new patients (111); Pando with zero cases (12 confirmed); Potos? with zero new patients (26 in total); and Tarija also did not register new patients (three confirmed in total).
The report details that there are 329 suspected cases to date in Bolivia, 6,181 discarded, 71 deaths and 159 recovered patients.
